Central Stay

The location was very central. I liked being close to many restaurants. The room decor had character. I appreciated the quiet environment (even though it's downtown).
The temperature controls in the shower needed adjustment. I needed time to get the temperature right.

Central Stay with Character

central location walking distance
I found the location central. I appreciated being within walking distance of the train station and having a variety of restaurants right outside (the fresh fish place across the street was great!). Earplugs were provided, a plus since the street noise could be noticeable at night, but I found it manageable.
I noticed the entrance, as well as the first and second floors, was a bit untidy. There was a collection of items that gave off a slightly musty smell, which I found a bit off-putting when entering and exiting the building.
Facilities
8/10
The building features original details. The hotel offered earplugs to help guests manage any potential noise from the surrounding area (a thoughtful touch!).
Rooms
9/10
The bathroom was spacious and included essential amenities. The room was generally clean and well maintained. The comfortable bed (I slept very well!) had clean linens.
Location
10/10
This location provided easy access to various points of interest. The hotel is near the English Market and Oliver Plunkett St Many pubs and eateries are very close.
Service
9/10
My interactions with the hotel manager were positive and helpful. The manager quickly addressed any questions I had. This contributed to a smoother stay.
